The new data center, located in the municipality of Vinhedo, is being built in an area of more than 1 million square feet.
Ascenty, the leading data center company focusing on the Latin American market, announces the construction of its 14th data center in the city of Vinhedo, located in the state of São Paulo, which will be the largest data center in Latin America. The first phase of the project includes an investment of US$ 130 million and should be concluded by the 4th quarter of 2019."We are very proud to announce the construction of this mega data center," says Marcos Siqueira, services director for Ascenty. "In addition to showing the accelerated expansion of our company, this new data center will represent a milestone for the region, since it will be the data center with the largest electricity capacity in Latin America," says Siqueira.
In order to meet the high demand of companies for quality infrastructure, Ascenty has made significant investments in the construction of new data centers in Brazil and as part of its next steps, the company plans to expand its operations in Latin America.
