Ascenty, the leading Data Center company focusing on the Latin American market, has announced the construction of two new data centers in the city of Hortolândia. The company will invest US$ 55 million in the two new data centers, which will have 15 MW of total power capacity. The new data centers will commence operations in the second quarter of 2019.
Hortolândia is a major and growing industrial and technological hub in São Paulo State. Ascenty’s investment in this area is part of its strategy to expand as corporate demand for high quality infrastructure increases. With the two new data centers, Ascenty will have three data centers in the Hortolândia and 14 data centers operating in Brazil by the middle of 2019.
“Our exclusive focus is to provide world-class infrastructure and outstanding service to the global enterprise market”, said Roberto Rio Branco, Marketing and Institutional Director at Ascenty. “This strategy combined with our proprietary fiber optic network interconnecting customers with the market’s biggest cloud providers is one of our main competitive advantages”, he added.
