Ascenty, the leading data center company focused on the Latin American market, opened two new data centers in Hortolândia, Brazil. The company invested BRL 250 million in the project, and each unit will have 15 MVA power capacity and 3,000 sqm of floor space. The new operations strengthen the company’s strategy in the region.
“Hortolândia is a growing industrial and technological hub. Investing in the town is part of our growth strategy, and will allow us to meet strong demand from local companies. The market is totally focused on outsourcing data center infrastructure, as well as expanding hybrid environments through the cloud, and we are prepared to deliver the best offers,” said Pablo Campagnac, VP of New Business at Ascenty.
With the two new data centers, the company now has three units in the city, and will have a total of 16 facilities operating in Brazil by the end of 2019.
“We are keeping up with the fast-moving market to offer world-class infrastructure through our data centers. Our differential is our own fiber-optic network, which allows our customers to connect physical environments with leading cloud providers” added Pablo Campagnac, VP of New Business at Ascenty.
