Ascenty presents connectivity solutions at Digital Realty MarketplaceLIVE 2019

Ascenty, the leading data center company in the Latin American market, attended the Digital Realty MarketplaceLIVE 2019 this Thursday, Nov. 7, in New York. The company has a booth at the event, where it positions itself as the ideal data center and cloud connect partner in Latin America.

“This year, we reached 18 data centers across Latin America and, together with this investment, we also expanded our connectivity service offerings. We have just launched a new direct connection project with the Cable Landing Station in Praia Grande, SP, providing our customers with a low-latency, high-resiliency physical and direct connection with global public cloud providers. In addition, we offer a broad, resilient, secure and direct connection between a wide variety of public clouds,” said Marcos Siqueira, Ascenty’s VP of Operations.

A Digital Realty and Brookfield company, Ascenty has a solid connectivity infrastructure, consisting of a dedicated fiber-optic network that spans 4,500 kilometers and connects all of its data centers (located in the states of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Ceará) to the world’s leading providers of public cloud services (such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud and IBM Cloud) and content, as well as telecom carriers and third-party data centers.

“We want to provide customers with the best experience, security and comfort they already find in our data center services, extending the quality of our fiber-optic network to the point of connection with other continents,” added Marcos.

MarketplaceLIVE 2019 is an annual event from Digital Realty and features keynotes, follow-up sessions and tracks, exploring ideas about what’s possible, what’s next and what’s interesting about connectivity and connected technology.
